Dean Home

Dean Home: An Artist’s Journey, is a retrospective showing at Metro Gallery, Melbourne until July 21. The River Passes, at Arthouse Gallery, Sydney, September 27–October 13, is an exhibition of recent works.

With a career spanning some 35 years and more than 40 exhibitions, Home has created a unique body of work. The fluid explorations of the artist’s early years manifested in a variety of ways, from his exploration into collage and the landscape of Western Australia, to his in-depth psychological and spiritual works analysing the male figure.

In the early 2000s, Dean Home changed tack. A burgeoning interest in still life and the poetic opportunities of Chinese ceramics led him to a more thorough interrogation of oriental aesthetics and concepts, which the artist still pursues.

Available below is a selection of prints of works that reflect the development of his career, as well his recently published monograph. The book, written by Ken McGregor and published by Thames & Hudson, provides an expansive insight into his career.

Each work is available as a limited edition of 100 giclee prints. Reproduced under the supervision of the artist using the highest quality archival inks and paper, each print is hand-signed and delivered with a certificate signed by the Editors. Delivery may take up to six weeks.

A detailed description, including size, paper, framing and delivery time, can be found within the ‘description’ of each artwork. To access the full description, click on the image, then on the ‘read more’ link.
