The Songbirds Wall Clock uses authentic bird song to mark the hour. Every hour, on the hour, you will hear a bird’s song/call for approximately 10 seconds. Each of the 12 genuine bird songs, ranging from blackbird to nightingale and oriole, has been recorded from nature by the French ornithologist Jean-Claude Roche. The clock comes with a practical light sensor that automatically switches off the bird songs when it gets dark to ensure a peaceful night. The colourful bird illustrations on the clock's face are hand-painted by Killian Mularney (from Ireland) and Dan Zetterström (from Sweden).
