iOS 12's new Screen Time feature is putting some Apple users to the test
Legitimately scared for the screen time feature on iOS 12...
i’ve updated my phone and it’s got this screen time thing i’m ready to be slaughtered by my phone
Alright, iOS 12. Let's see how Screen Time goes.pic.twitter.com/4IFzcjfpdY
Screen Time is going to be painful:pic.twitter.com/orhTtZ9vt1
The iOS 12 updates “Screen Time” feature should be called the “You are a total loser” feature.pic.twitter.com/nke9xyifUj
Installed IOS12 and immediately disabled Screen Time. I don’t want to know!

You can now measure your productivity with the all new screen time feature.... now I’m gonna know exactly how long I’ve wastedpic.twitter.com/VECA2UnD78
Well I’m guessing the ‘Screen Time’ app will make me realise how much time I spend on my phone, I’ll feel guilty for a minute and think of the long term implications but then I won’t do anything about it. #iOS12
Screen Time. One of the best features of iOS12 IMHO @MrsLauraW @Wrightstufmusic #AppleEDUChatpic.twitter.com/9GNBt3Idyk
My Screen Time is not off to a great start.
With Social networking already having the greatest percentage in the past hour.
Creativity, the least.

I feel like I should make my husband set up screen time for our kids on iOS 12 because I gave birth to TWO 7.5 lb babies at ONCE and this is almost as difficult.
There's much (futile) protesting going on at my home tonight by my kids about installing iOS 12 because of the new Screen Time. I'm not turning on any restrictions yet. I want for all of us to see how much they actually use certain apps, then we'll decide what's reasonable to do.
I expect this will be a very difficult update for many kids and parents. The kids know about it and they're not happy about it. But if you're a parent, it's way past time we had these kinds of tools to manage usage as needed.https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2018/06/ios-12-introduces-new-features-to-reduce-interruptions-and-manage-screen-time/ …
>80% of people say it’s difficult to unplug from at least one device & around 60% of adults wish their family members would unplug more often. Our family just started to use iOS 12’s Screen Time & while Apple took a great step in the right direction, there are still blind spots:
Screen Time must go beyond iPhones & iPads (which can be >50% of daily usage) to Macs & even Apple TV. Only then will we have the complete understanding of our digital use & have a way to control it. On avg, it is estimated that we spend close to 6 hrs/day on digital devices.
Apple's Screen Time tool is designed to help us use our iPhones less. But if you don't also have some self-control, it won't be enough.https://on.wsj.com/2OCdiAI
