An Irishman has been labelled a hero after he bravely fought off raiders at a bookmakers in County Cork. When an attempted raid took place by three intruders armed with hammers and a gun on Saturday, September 15 a local man was more than ready for them. Shocking footage posted to reddit.com has shown the raiders entering the bookies in Crestfield, Glanmire at 6.30pm wearing balaclavas and tracksuits.
