The aim of this year’s SGS is to extend an opportunity to all young people who are ready to unleash their creative and innovative potential.
In addition to the recent revival of case review and prison courts, UNDP supports the ongoing rehabilitation of Makeni, Mafanta, and Sefadu Correctional Services.
With a 400,000 $ budget, UNDP Sierra Leone launched a skills training on waste recycling for 150 youths (120 women and 30 men) in 8 slum communities around Freetown.
People donated anything they could afford; from offering their time as builders, to donating their goats, chicken, palm oil, yam and rice.
