At least five dead as Florence is downgraded to a tropical storm

After making a landfall Friday morning, Florence is moving inwards towards southeastern North Carolina with maximum sustained winds of 75 mph (120 km/h), according to the National Hurricane Center. At least five people are dead, including a woman and infant who were killed when a tree fell on their home, police said.
