    Yes, Mastodon is a great alternative to Twitter. Though I still use Twitter ('s my personal account) since most of my friends are there. If we can make Twidere contributed by more people, it would definitely live as a multi-platform microblogging app.

    And I believe they will find some way to block official key usage (or simply ban users using that). Don't know what to say, I really wish it's not the end of 3rd party client apps developers.

    I still don't want to simply stop working on this project. Though I dislike Twitter as an user and a developer but all my friends are there. But you'll see core features limited or even stop working in the future since Twitter may terminate my developer account.

    They did pretty well. Actually, this is the first time I see no future for Twidere (for its Twitter part). I feel so bad about that. I started Twidere when I was 17, Twitter was a really open platform, especially compared with its copycat Sina Weibo in where I living.

    I know Twitter's killing 3rd party apps by removing public API features, limiting average users obtaining access keys, and using licenses and agreements to scare developers (like me) to circumvent limits.

    A big thank you to all users are still using Twidere. Your feature requests and reports will be processed faster here: since it's OK to check Github rather than Twitter at work 😈

    6th birthday of Twidere. Sadly I was too occupied to make promised 4.0 version, or check feedbacks. But I'm still working on it! I've found many performance impacts and eventually they'll be rewritten.

    Got pink eye recently. I can't see things after eye drop treatment because I have to keep my eyes shut. Then I turned TalkBack on and exploring like other visually challenged users. Well, Twidere still have to improve it's a11y, I have to admit. I Will continue working on this!
