Joshua Kasper is our Building Inspector and the owner of Kasper Inspections. He is a licenced Builder and Building Inspector and has been actively involved in the construction industry in Queensland for over 15 years. Joshua completed an Apprenticeship in Carpentry (Certificate III) and holds a Certificate IV in Construction. He has significant hands on experience and has built and managed the construction of many new homes as well as multiple major renovations and boutique renovations throughout Queensland.

Joshua has a passion for building and prides himself on providing thorough, accurate and user-friendly building inspection reports and advice. He has an incredible eye for detail and a practical mindset that provides you with the best possible advice and guidance when it comes to construction in Queensland.

Job Description: Need a custom build JEWELLERS WORK BENCH. I try uploading a photo but website wouldn't let me so please contact me and i can send you a simple sketch i made but will give you a good idea of the job. Its basically a corner bench, 1.80mts on one side, 1.50mts on the other side, 0.94mts hight, foot rest and peg board, the corner is flat 0.60mts where a half circle is cut in from the edge. Needs to be sturdy and durable, I don't mind ply wood for the top. I am a student and looking for reasonable quotes please. I prefer emails or txt. Thanks a lot.

Kasper Constructions were wonderful - I had an absolutely terrible bathroom in the new home I bought and Josh and the boys made it look incredible! Very professional and reliable and the trades he used were spot on. Will be using Joshua for the rest of my renovation for sure!

Josh built a deck for my husband and I mid last year. All I can say is wow! He did an incredible job, has an eye for detail, very passionate about his work. I would highly recommend Josh for any carpentry work.

Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

At Kasper Inspections we are completely insured. We have Professional Indemnity insurance $1 million. $ 10 million public liability and are personally insured. If you would like to see our certificates of currency please let us know and we will be happy to show you.
Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

A customer should hire Kasper Inspections over other inspectors as we have a long trade background in building and construction. We are a licenced Carpenter, Builder and Building Inspector.
Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

At Kasper Inspections we are very specialised in building inspections. Josh our building inspector started out as an apprentice carpenter. After completing his four year trade he worked for very respected builders gaining more knowledge on renovations and new homes. From there Josh applied for his builders licence and ran a successful building company specializing in renovations which is still running today (Kasper Constructions). From there he studied further and now has his Completed Residential Inspection Licence. Josh has an eye for detail and has a passion for detected when something is wrong with a building.
How do you normally charge for your service?

We will give a verbal/written quote. Once the quote has been accepted we will book your inspection in and send you an invoice to pay.
What makes your pricing competitive?

We keep our pricing competitive by charging what the market allows and what other inspectors are charging for the same inspection. What makes Kasper Inspections stand out from the rest is our knowledge and extensive trade background in the construction industry.
How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Unfortunately there is no way to save money on an inspection. The best thing you can do is some research on the inspector you are considering on using. You want an inspector with a carpentry trade background and a Builder background.
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

All we need to know is the size of the property. Eg how many bedrooms ? How many storeys ? What type of property is it ?
Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?

At Kasper Inspections we offer free thermal camera and moisture readings if there a suspected leak or past leak which we will confirm with the camera and moisture reader.
What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?

We follow the Australian Standards for building inspections. We look over everything with a fine tooth comb. It's our passion to provide written advice/reports to make sure you are making an informed decision on your potential asset.
What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Biggest questions to ask is 1. Do you have a trade background in carpentry ? 2. How long will you be onsite inspecting the property ? 3. Can I be there at the time you inspect the property ?
What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

Do building inspectors have to be licensed? Yes building and pest inspectors must be licensed in their own name. Make sure you check the QBCC website for their license before hiring the building inspector.
