Unfortunately, this is likely a reality only for airline pilots and cabin crew, both very competitive roles. Jobs in travel often include organizing and planning trips for customers and business. Every multinational company will have a travel operation to deal with whisking employees off to client locations. On the other hand, you can work for a personal travel business, creating bespoke holidays for the general public.

Responsibilities & Skills

Travel jobs require a good deal of communication skills as you’ll likely be interacting with customers and members of the public on a regular basis. An ability to work under pressure is also required – there are few things as scary and angry as someone whose travel plans have been disrupted!
