    3:15 PM MST - Here is a look at the latest snow forecast. Be aware, we are expecting high snow levels initially with rain falling for many locations. For our population centers, much of the snow in this graphic will fall from Tue afternoon-Wed morning.

  6. The Going-to-the-Sun Road is temporarily closed just west of the St. Mary Entrance due to blowing and drifting snow.

  7. The Zion-Mount Carmel Hwy (SR-9 through the park) is closed to through traffic. The east side is open 9am to 5pm daily. Traffic will be turned around prior to the tunnel. All cars must leave the area by 5pm. Large vehicles will not be allowed. Read more:

  9. The free park shuttle is currently required to access the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive. First shuttle leaves the Visitor Center at 7am. Parking is limited. If it's full, park in Springdale and ride the free town shuttle. Private vehicles can drive the other open park roads.

  10. The Narrows are open. The flow in the river has been below 150 CFS for 24 hours. Rain is in the forecast. Please check at the Visitor Center for more information.

    The Narrows continue to be closed. The flow of the North Fork of the Virgin River exceeded 150 CFS (cubic feet per second). The Narrows and all routes that exit through the Narrows are closed. The bottom-up Narrows will reopen after the CFS is below 150 for 24hrs.
