It could be that your state has set specific requirements that prevent you from scheduling. Check for any alerts in your GED^® account and be sure to clear them before scheduling (each alert will provide further instruction). You can learn more about your state’s requirements here.

If you need to retake a GED^® test subject, you are given two subsequent retests that you can schedule at any time. If you don’t pass within your first three attempts, you’ll need to wait 60 days for your next attempt and between every attempt thereafter. Additional state requirements may apply.

Scores are typically posted within 24 hours of taking your GED^® test or GED Ready^® practice test. However, sometimes it can take up to 2 to 3 business days. You’ll receive an email once your scores have posted to your account.

In the "Scores" section of your account, you will see a detailed score report for each GED Ready^® practice test and each GED^® test subject that you have taken along with a list of skills that you need to work on to improve your score.

Please note there are several ways you can prepare for the GED^® test. In the "Study" section of your GED^® account you have access to free study guides, free practice tests, the official GED Ready^® practice test, in person and online classes.
