The easiest first step to getting involved is signing up for our announcements email list so you can be informed about our upcoming events and actions.

OCAP does not have membership dues and anyone who agrees with our principles is welcome to join us. Our membership committee meets with those interested in getting involved at least once per month. If you want to become a member, send us an email telling us a bit about yourself or give us a call.

OCAP members contribute in many ways:

  1. Become Organizers: Organizing members attend bi-weekly general membership meetings where we discuss and make decisions that shape campaigns and organizing strategy. Members take on tasks that help carry the work of the organization forward.
  2. Become Supporters: If attending meetings isn’t your thing, you can help support the struggle by helping out with outreach, being on-call for emergency actions, and helping with set-up, take-down or cooking at actions. You can also help us document the fight by using skills you may have with photography, or with audio and video production and more.
  3.  Become Sustainers: We need a stable source of regular financial support that can keep us afloat. If you can donate anything from $5-300 a month, click here to find out how.
