Advertiser credits/coupons
We offer credits (also called "coupons") to selected advertisers who meet our eligibility criteria to test and audit our Twitter Ads products. If you have been offered a credit through one of our partner programs, the coupon amount will show in your Ads Account in the Payment Methods tab.
How they work
If you are part of a program where participants were given an advertising coupon, first you must successfully add a credit or debit card to your Twitter Ads account. Then, make sure you are logged into the Twitter @handle you wish to add the coupon to. You can then click the "add coupon" link in the email you were sent with coupon confirmation.
Your credit card will be charged automatically for any amount your campaigns serve over the amount of the original coupon credit. Your advertiser coupon funds will always be charged first before your credit card.
To help manage your advertiser credit, we send a notification to the email address associated with your account when the ad credit is close to 80% exhausted. To view your total billable activity to date, navigate to the Spend metrics > Budget column on your main ads dashboard.

How do I use my coupon?
Arrow down iconYou must first have an active credit card on file, but after that to use your coupon simply start a campaign in your Twitter Ads account. Your coupon balance will always be used first, however any spend over your coupon's amount will be charged to your credit card.

How will my coupon show in my Billing invoice?
Arrow down iconYour coupon balance will always be used before your active payment card. You can see this in your "Billing history" tab, where each Transaction ID where coupon credit was used will show as Status "Credited".

How do I get an advertiser credit/coupon?
Arrow down iconWe offer advertiser coupons to certain advertisers part of pilot programs. Unfortunately you cannot request access at this time. You can fund your Twitter Ads campaigns using credit or debit cards.
