In Indonesia, Muslims celebrated #Eid by sharing photos and videos of their experiences during takbiran, a unique local tradition where people walk the streets in their hometowns and chant the takbir on the last day of #Ramadan.

We partnered with @liputan6dotcom (an online portal by one of the largest media groups in Indonesia KLY) to help people find Ramadan-related information on Twitter - it included information about prayer times, Ramadan food recipes and related information to help Indonesians during homecoming travel.

@netmediatama TV integrated Twitter within its Sohoor programming, “Ini Sahur” to allow audiences to engage with celebrity guests and hosts during its show in real-time. The TV station also published videos to promote their various Ramadan programs, that generated nearly 4 million views during the holy month.
