What we do
UNDP is the UN's global development network, an organization advocating for change and connecting countries to knowledge, experience and recources to help people build a better life. UNDP in Cambodia works in partnership with the Royal Government of Cambodia, non-government organizations, civil society organizations, community-based organizations, multilateral aid agencies, bilateral donors and private firms. We are focusing on upgrading value chains, financing development sustainably, building resilience and fostering voice and participation. The overarching aim of UNDP is to support the progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Country Programme Document for Cambodia 2016 - 2018
To expand the scope for public action, UNDP will focus assistance on public institutions for poverty reduction and resilience and on strengthening voice and participation. The focus are upgrading value chains, financing development sustainably, building resilience and fostering participation. An important tool will be fostering partnerships in the context of transition.
Human Development Report 2016
The 2016 Human Development Report is the latest in the series of global Human Development Reports published by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) since 1990 as independent, analytically and empirically grounded discussions of major development issues, trends and policies. Additional resources related to the 2016 Human Development Report can be found online at http://hdr.undp.org, including digital versions of the Report and translations of the overview in more than 20 languages, an interactive web version of the Report, a set of background papers and think pieces commissioned for the Report, interactive maps and databases of human development indicators, full explanations of the sources and methodologies used in the Report’s composite indices, country profiles and other background materials as well as previous global, regional and national Human Development Reports. The 2016 Report and the best of Human Development Report Office content, including publications, data, HDI rankings and related information can also be accessed on Apple iOS and Android smartphones via a new and easy to use mobile app.
10 SDG Solutions for Asia-Pacific
Entitled “10 Solutions to Help Meet the SDGs,” the report describes large-scale projects in ten countries in the region – Bangladesh, China, India, Iran, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, the Solomon Islands and Timor Leste – that have demonstrably accelerated progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) contained in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development...
