The Government of Samoa is keen to promote regional connectivity and collaboration in technologies to capitalize on the infrastructure investments and has vowed to move towards a knowledge-based economy. It believes that it is possible to ready the public service for the digital age, thereby realizing the vision of a “professional and competent public administration that provides quality, efficient and transparent services for and to its people”.
Projects combine efforts to train Savaii communities in the use of alternative Sustainable and Resilient Agricultural Methods
Two environmentally based Projects under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment joined forces last week to provide a combined training for 20 villages in Savaii, on Sustainable Land and Integrated water management and Climate Resilient Sustainable Agricultural Practices.
What we do
The Samoa MCO works closely with the governments of Cook Islands, Niue, Samoa and Tokelau as well as Non Government Organisations on development programmes in the areas of Democratic Governance, Sustainable Livelihoods/Poverty Reduction, Crisis Prevention & Recovery, Environment and Energy and Gender Mainstreaming.
