COMMUNIST PARTY OF IRELAND / PÁIRTÍ CUMANNACH NA hÉIREANN
Partisan · Patriotic · Internationalist
Páirtíneach · Tírghrách · Idirnáisiúnach

The Communist Party of Ireland is an all-Ireland Marxist party founded in 1933. Its aim is to win the support of the majority of the Irish people for ending the capitalist system and for building socialism—a social system in which the means of production, distribution and exchange are publicly owned and utilised for the benefit of the whole people. Páirtí Marxach uile-Éireann a bunaíodh sa bhliain 1933 is ea Páirtí Cumannach na hÉireann. Is é aidhm an pháirtí tacaíocht thromlach mhuintir na hÉireann a bhaint amach do dheireadh a chur leis an gcóras caipitleach agus do thógáil an tsóisialachais—córas sóisialta ina bhfuil na córacha táirgthe, dáileacháin agus malairte i seilbh an phobail agus ina n-úsáidtear iad ar mhaithe leis an bpobal iomlán.

Response to the minister for housing
Public housing must be universally accessible to stop it becoming ghettoised or a last resort for the poor, the CPI has said in a statement.

Freagairt ar an aire tithíochta
Deir an CPI i ráiteas gur gá tithíocht phoiblí a bheith ar fáil do chách ionas nach ndéanfar geiteo di nó nach mbeidh sí ina rogha dheiridh ag na boicht.

Congratulations to Palestinian solidarity activists
The CPI welcomes the passing by the Seanad of the Control of Economic Activity (Occupied Territories) Bill, introduced by the independent senator Frances Black, an important and significant first step in what will be a tough battle to get it through the Dáil and make it the law of this state.

Comhghairdeas le gníomaithe um dhlúthpháirtíocht leis an bPalaistín
Fáiltíonn an CPI roimh an mBille um Ghníomhaíocht Eacnamaíoch a Rialú (Críocha faoi Fhorghabháil), a thionscnaigh Frances Black, seanadóir neamhspleách, an chéad chéim agus céim thábhachtach shuntasach sa chath crua a bheidh ann chun é a chur chun cinn sa Dáil agus é a achtú mar dhlí an stáit seo.
