    My cat has been slowly upping his game when he's trying to get my attention. First he would roll on the ground and be cute. And then he started jumping onto my back. And now he'll jump up and lands on my shoulder! From the ground!

    Sometimes writing climate policy stories like this can feel like writing a description of chess strategy. So it was interesting to see flip that on its head and actually make it a game!

    But the story threatened to sprawl beyond control. There were just to many "if, then" statements for a traditional story structure to contain.

    The way this is worded, I definitely read it like "just so we're all clear, this conversation _never_ happened, right? 😉"

    We are aware of the President’s statement regarding a hypothetical call with our CEO…and just so we’re all clear, it never happened.
