    Teton Interagency fire fighters have responded to 2 lightning-caused fires & numerous abandoned campfires in the past week. Please be Responsible with Campfires on Public Lands. When finished with a campfire, the fire needs to be completely extinguished & cold to the touch. (1/2)

    An emergency closure in the Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point areas on the west side of Jenny Lake is in effect for human safety. Some recently expanding cracks have been identified in a large rock buttress above the Hidden Falls viewing area. More info:

    Work on the 2 bridges south of Gros Ventre Jct is taking place this week. Visitors have been experiencing delays of up to 15 minutes during the day. We expect these delays to continue through Friday, and potentially into the weekend and early next week. .

    Thurs., July 5 through Fri., July 13, travelers on US HWY 89/26/191 in the southern area of Grand Teton should expect 15-mins delays south of Gros Ventre JCT on weekdays between 5am & 9pm to accommodate resurfacing of the Gros Ventre River Bridge. (1/2)

    REMINDER: The Moose-Wilson Road will be temporarily closed for road grading beginning at 8 p.m. tonight and will reopen by 6 a.m. tomorrow. Grading will improve the road surface and provide a better and safer experience for motorists and cyclists.

    Rangers recovered the body of a climber on the east face of Teewinot Mountain today. The deceased climber is 27-year old Burak Akil of Wayne, New Jersey. It is believed Akil was solo climbing Teewinot Mountain on Sunday, and fell on the descent. Story:
