Israel Allies Chairman Conference in Jerusalem
Event Details
The annual Israel Allies Chairman Conference was held in Jerusalem between October 19-21, 2016, at Sukkot (The Jewish Feast of Tabernacles). Israel Allies chairpersons from parliaments all over the world gathered in the indivisible capital of Israel to discuss relevant policy and meet representatives of the Israeli government and experts who briefed them on the latest developments in the ever-changing Middle East. Parliamentarians shared with each other their experience in Israel advocacy and received practical advice on the challenges in their respective countries. The group of international legislators also toured strategic sites in Jerusalem as well as the disputed territories, including Hebron. The delegations were hosted by the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus, with Chairman MK Robert Ilatov, Director Josh Reinstein and his team. The policy conference was sponsored by the World Jewish Congress and the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem.
