9/8/2013 - Delta SCCA: Labor Day-ish Autocross Run 6, 40.788 seconds. 4th in PAX, 2nd in raw time. Notes: Third event with front and rear sway bars installed, no changes to the car. No drama from getting used to the sway bars, and the car felt great all day long. Steadily improved for the most part throughout the day. First event with solid mounted camera, which really transmits the sounds of what the car is doing extremely well and a nice unexpected bonus (engine RPMs, tire noise and understeer events) with the gopro watertight skeleton. Second event measuring tire temps, which seem to indicate the back air pressure/camber is almost perfect, with consistent temps across the face of the tire. Oddly enough tire temps on the front indicated to much temp on the insides of the tires as if to much camber is present. Walt rode along and gave feedback to help me improve: Try to unwind the wheel for brief moments in steady state understeer events to attempt to re-gain traction like in the two turn-arounds. Also could have possibly got into the throttle earlier on the last corner to the finish.
