Handpumps Complaint Monitoring System is an intiative of the
Drinking Water and Sanitation Department, Government of Jharkhand. The purpose
of this initiative is to facilitate the citizens for registering their
complaints relating to hand-pumps in their areas. The complaints can be
registered at the Toll Free number (1-800-345-6502) on any working day between
10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The complainant is given a Complaint Reference Number (CRN)
after the registration of a complaint. The status of this complaint can be
checked by the complainant after the time when the complaint is expected to be
redressed (Normally 72 Hrs.). The status of the complaint can be checked either on the web or
through the Toll Free number.
We are committed to provide better services to our citizens and this initiative
is just one of the efforts in that direction. Your suggestions to improve the
