Terrorizer-Re-animating the dead 7"

A rare and hard to get piece of grinding noise recorded back in 1987, but lets start from the beginning:
Terrorizer have been bootleged again and again: They released only one official record but their demos and rehearsal recordings used to pop up on vinyl here and there: Their first demo "Nightmares", the eponymous 7" or "From the tomb" are a only a few that come to mind.
"Re-animating the dead" is one of these bootlegs but unlike the other Terrorizer boots this is a live and not a demo/rehearsal recording: A four track ep that sometimes is known as "Live at Hoover" or "Live at the Hoover Auditorium"((Los Angeles, CA) 21.02.1987. Cultmetal says this was released in 2004 and was "limited to 300 or 500 copies (100 green vinyl, 200 or 400 black) and Blank innersleeve". The sound quality is a bit horrible but this was recorded in 80's so don't expect high quality sound level, it works as a must have and piece of rarity for die hard fans
"Crematorium" and "Benediction"appeared for first time in "Nightmares", the first Terrorizer demo while "Re-Animator" comes from a rehearsal in April 1987 known as "Day zero (included in "From the tomb" bootleg along with the rehearsal of August 22), also there a Nausea (LA) song titled Re-animator and appears in Psychological Conflict 7" and maybe is the same song, "Evil dead" is a Death cover.
There is this unofficial Terrorizer site but a lot of infos are missing in their record catalog and even some tracks lists might be wrong (all tracks that appear in the st 7" bootleg are not listed in 4/25/ 1987 rehearsal despite the boot tracks come from this rehearsal)
I know that comments has turned into let down lately and we have become a ghost town but in case you know any infos about this boot or Terrorizer's demo-graphy, (any info about the rehearsal '88 in Tampa Florida?...), make a comment and enlighten us. but before that, go and get it
Tracks:
01:Crematorium
02:Benediction
03:Re-Animator
04:Evid dead (Death cover)

Terrorizer-st 7" (bootleg)

This is a classic piece of noise: Here we have some Terrorizer's old demo recordings from April of 1987, released in 1991 on seven inch vinyl limited to 333 hand numbered copies. This rarity was released by Satanic Records(Japan) in 1991 and the Filth Records label wich mentioned on the back cover was probably the label that released the demo tape. There was a green and a red vinyl version, there are four tracks here delivering Terorrizer's devastating death metal, the B side track list on back cover is wrong, if you listen carefully beneath the surface of horrible noise you will understand that "Corporate Takeover" and "Misled System" are "Human Prey" and "Resurrection". Tracks are in the original form without any remixing work, the sound quality is on the level of demo tape recordings of 80's but the value of this there isn't in the sound quality, right?. This is rough and raw and the wall of sound made by Sandoval's drumming just kicks asses. Just to mention here that the cover artwork was made by a guy named Killian Ryan (thanks Alan and cheers!).
You all know Terrorizer, don't you? check the back cover for a brief history of the band and some more details about this ep. There is this unofficial Terrorizer site but a lot of information in their record catalogi's missing, even some tracks lists might be wrong, all tracks that appear in this bootleg are not listed in 4/25/ 1987 rehearsal tape despite the boot tracks come from this session
This record was a sweet finding, thanks to Chris of Crustcracker for this.
Tracklist:
1. Strategic warheads
2. After world obliteration
3. Corporate take over
4. Misled system

VA-No Hesitation to Resist 2 7" (2003,Forest Records)

This is another post that makes me feel weird and have some deja vu since i started working on it about two years ago as i was planning to post it in march 2012 and the day of first anniversary of Fukushima disaster, it was nearly a year after the insident and the flow of news in mass media had removed this tragedy from front line pages and more or less we had forgotten what happened and somehow in my mind i slightly related this record with this tragedy because of the cover artwork (gasmasks and radiation uniforms, ok there are weapons too so this is all just bullshit) and since the bands come from Japan....this is the lousy excuse for this post: Anyway, No Hesitation to Resist was a 10 inch compilation, released in 1999 by Forest Records and included some glorious names of Japanese scene such as Battle of Disarm, Effigy, Disclose and Beyond Description and some lesser known bands, Truth of Arise, Äpärät, Victims of Greed and others, this gem  was followed a few years later by a second part, this time in seven inches and the bands included were not as glorious as these in Pt1 but still deliver the goods: Peaceful Collapse, Kampfer, Discript, Criminal, Agree to Differ and C.P.S. I know only a few info about the bands collected from internet, Discript stands as the most known or "known as related with" since they were a pre-Beyond Description band and their split 7" with Y on German label Anomie Records from 1995 is long long time out of print, Peaceful Collapse were active duning late '90's and early '00's and had a couple of cdr and tape releases, some of them were posthumous releases of old material  in 2010-11, they also appeared in several Crust Night series comp. of Tribal War Asia, Agree to Differ had only a double split 7" with Change on FFT Label in 2002,  Kampfer is totally with out any trace on the web, (according to Discogs. com a band named Kampfer was in Fear Candy 59 cd comp of Terrorizer mag in 1995 but don't take this info for real, this comp. includes Amon Amarth, Benediction, Iced Earth and other metal bands so is another band). C.P.S. had only an appearance in Crust Night 2002 and as for Criminal, this contribution was their one and only shit as a band. The record came out on Forest Records, a label with Disprove, Beyond Description and Effigy releases as well the Meaningful Consolidation double 7". it comes in fold out paper sleeve with some lyrics and band info in English & Japanese, all bands deliver shitloads of noise with Discript, and Agree to Differ to win my taste, Peaceful Collapse and Kampfer are interest too. I said so much useless shit, ends here.

Benediction-Flexi 8" (bootleg,199..?)

This little red gem comes from the late '80's and its a forgotten flexi from the old school deathsters Benediction. Metal orientated crusties know these vets who along with Bolt Thrower kept the flag of UK's old school death metal high since late '80's. Back in the day and when i was deep into to grindcore and death metal shit, they were one of my favorite bands along with Carcass, Napalm Death, Prophecy of Doom, Terrorizer, Disharmonic Orchestra etc. And since there is a post from these monsters why not something from Benediction? so here we go: "death metal reigns!!!"
The flexi comes in the unusual size of eight inches (which is too large for the usual plastic sleeves made for 7 inch ep's) and brings two songs that last about eight minutes: Subconscious Terror is of course the title track of their first lp and Bonesaw which appeared only in The Dreams You Dread demo tape from1989, (if the song or riffs of it appeared in a song in official release is a question that can be replied by Benediction die hard followers) the recording is live and was probably recorded in the years '89-'91 when Barney was still in the band before join Napalm Death (i love his grunting "punk is dead, rock is dead, hardcore is dead, death metal reigns!") and before Dave Ingram's arrival on vokill duties. Quality wise, this is far from the level of Antisect bootleg and even the cover artwork is far from Benediction's image and lyrical topics. I don't know the year this came out (probably in early '90's) or how many copies were made, if you know any information please share it with us, all i know is this little piece of red flexible vinyl and poor photocopied paper used to reach some high and insane prices on eBay's insanity.
And just a few more lines of meaningless ranting: Some great news about Benediction came up back in 2008 when they announced the release of a split with Wolfbrigade on FETO Rec.s after a seven year hiatus. My enthusiasm turned slowly into disappointment because the record never saw the light of day and the project died in oblivion. Killing Music their latest release is an amazing piece of old school death metal with plenty of crust influences and covers of Amebix and Broken Bones, don't give a shit about the low rates of reviewers in Metal Archives, they just are not into crust.

Abstain-US '99 tour 7" (1999,Agitate 96)

I know its been a long time since the last post but i had and still have some problems with my turntable and scanner, the turntable is ok now but the scanner is still out of duty, i hope i will fix the problem soon.
A i said to Mike from Fifteen Counts... this post was supposed to bring you some Japanese crust but finally here 's something from the grindcore area: I posted some releases of these Pennsylvanian grinders in the past (Superiority Complex demo tape, split w Unholy Grave, split w Denak and split w Nasum) so there is no need for any blurb about them. This is their ep for the US tour of '99, released by Agitate 96 Records in 500 copies and as expected it delivers fast and brutal hardcore influenced old school grindcore with hyperfast blasting drums and thrashing riffs, vocals moved from the deep low growls of their early records to hoarse high pitched screams/yells, slightly reminding of Drop Dead or Siege. Unfortunately Abstain fall in the category of bands that would sound a little bit better if they added the missing instrument since the sound is a little dry despite the descent production and the chaos of fast drumming, by adding the bass the sound would be more deep and structured but then who am i to judge 'em?. By saying that i don't mean this is a bad record since everything is done fine, Abstain duet ruled back in their day,( Dead Shall Rise cover, Terrorizer is one of my favorite grindcore songs ever) and that's what they do here delivering the goods for nine minutes: Aggression and furry, rawness and speed, the wall of sound, the heaviness and socially awared lyrics are always there.
I said enough, go get it, EDIT: I used my digi cam to solve the scans problem so i added artwork photos, the scanner is still dead though...

G-ANX/Filthy Christians-split 7" (Gore Core Records.1988)

Another old diamond and this time we got a split ep with two legendary bands from Sweden: Fri Som En Fågel… was released in 1988 by Gore Core Records, it came in colored vinyl (there were red, blue and yellow copies) and included two of Sweden's finest acts of late '80's and for both this was the first official release:G-ANX need no introduction, their ep's are already posted here and here, check these posts if you already haven't for more, just to add here an interview with Patrick(vocals) of No Te Calles Fanzine.
Filthy Christians formed in 1985 and included Per Thunell, vocalist of Protes Beng in their ranks, they played in many gigs in Sweden, in the next years they recorded three demos, in 1988 they released the split with G-ANX, in 1990 the Mean lp (and they became the first Swedish band on Earache Records) in 1992 the Nailed cd was recorded at Sunlight Studios and produced by Tomas Skogsberg, they also appeared in the infamous Grindcrusher compilation along with some monsters of extreme metal such as Carcass, Morbid Angel, Bolt Thrower, Terrorizer, Napalm Death etc. When F.C called it quits, members went on Bruce Banner and BombKlan
Here we got one of the blue vinyl copies, the record comes in gatefold cover and includes special thanks and some funny artwork, a sheet with lyrics was included too. Filthy Christians tracks come from their second demo tape: imagine the crust brutality of Bombanfall enriched with some grindcore hints that po p up here and there. There are brutal vocals, rough guitars, beat changes with slower parts followed by fast outbreaks, there is a grindcore feeling but this is not the grindcore as we know it, six tracks are delivered and some of them last less than a minute. On the other side, G-ANX deliver five tracks of their powerful and aggressive hardcore, very fast, fierce, angry and raw and without the acoustic parts that appeared for first time in Far Out.
And the rant will finish with something written in Blood Sisters:"
Carl of I Love a Parade, whose old band His Hero is Gone once toured with someone who played in G-ANX, reports that the name (being Swedish) is pronounced more like "yonks" than like "gee-anks" or "ganks." Also it apparently means "pregnant duck," but I'm a little dubiouser on that one". But then Tony said that "We always said "GEEe-Annks" in Swedish". And why G-Anx are included in Blood Sisters? Because of a girl who used to handle bass duties..

Chronical Diarrhoea-Royal diarrhoea 7"

A big Welcome back to Whispy and many thanks for the rare shit he posted. Dude i hope you ll figure out what the shit s going on with the ripping setup and bring some more rarities.

Chronical Diarrhoea was one of the most underated bands of late 80's. They were formed in Muhlheim, Germany in 1987 and Royal diarrhoea" was their debut ep.
It was 1987(or 88?) when a friend from Germany sent me a 90 minute comp tape with more than 120 songs of grindcore bands of these days: This was a real treasure: Napalm Death,Terrorizer,Repulsion Fear of God,Disarmonic Orchestra,Incubus,Righteous Pigs,Carcass and many many more. The last three tracks of side A were of a band with the silly name Chronical Diarrhoea:The first track was a 50 seconds belching studio sounds(!),the second one was a funny thrashy ballad and the third was a 8 seconds short grindcore song. With a name like that and such funny songs it was obvious these guys were a joke band. A grindcore joke band ala Sore Throat and so? hmm..the answer had to wait a few years...
So i always had this belief these guys were grinders until the day i first listened a record of them (it was the "The Last Judgement" cd) and discovered that these gyus were thrashers.A thrash metal band but with no any relation to the classic german scene (Kreator, Sodom, Destruction): Their thrash was primitive, with punkish vocals, punkish feeling and hilarious lyrical content.
"Royal diarrhoea" was released by the Oberhausen based label Anti-Schelski Records in 1987,(the later Crucial Response Records). There was a green vinyl version and a 12 inch version as well. It was the first C.D. record and its a piece of crossover with funny track titles, thrash riffs and punkish vocals. There are even acoustic parts, the sound is raw and primitive and the whole shit isn't something you can take seriously but it works as the soundrack of having fun drinking beers with your friends. The cover artwork is hilarious and competes the hilarity of lyrical content (lyrics were printed by a typewriter)

Chronical Diarrhoea were pretty ignored by the majority of fans, apart from "Royal diarrhoea" their discography includes "Abstract carnage" ep (1988,Off The Disk Records, label of Erich from Fear of God and Good bad Music),"Salomo Says"(LP,1988,Nuclear Blast) and "The Last Judgement" (LP,1990,Nuclear Blast), there is also the CD version of "The Last Judgement"('91,Nuclear Blast)) including the "Abstract Carnage" and "Salomo says" plus one previously unreleased track, they split around 1991 and members went on with Bohren and their self-proclaimed "horror jazz"
Tracklist:
01:Ommes kills
02:Dogs and dirt
03:A condor eats pizza
04:Smell of death
05:Government issue
06:Royal diarrhoea
07:Chemical terrorism
08:Frozened realities
09:Trade mark adortion / How thin

V/A.-Grindcrusher comp bonus 7"

I got sick and m not in the mood for much blah blah, much traffic lately but no comment fedback and using a lo-res viscera word, "It's like a fucking ghost town around here lately..." but lets give it a try:
Earache put out the Grindcrusher comp lp in 1989 including some of the death metal and grindcore monsters of late 80's:Carcass, Morbid Angel, Terrorizer, Bolt Thrower, Godflesh, Repulsion, Nocturnus, Filthy Christians and Napalm Death
A limited number of copies of Napalm Death/Electro Hippies-split 7" was given for free with initial copies of Grindcrusher and made the Guiness Book of Records as the world's shortest record. Each track was about a few seconds long, there was a short groove at the edge of the record while the rest of the vinyl was covered with etched writing.
said 'nuff..lets keep it short for short record,
Napalm Death:
1:You Suffer
Electro Hippies:
1: Mega Armageddon Death pt III

And as bonus, here 's five live video shots of You suffer incl. some old gigs from 1989 and 90 with Lee Dorian handling "vocals" duties.. enjoy it! sorry but no version of Mega Armageddon death here...

Olethros-st 7"

ok, we are back here after some real hard times and i feel good after all these days in trouble to spend my time again on this blog. And we are back with one hard to find ep from Greece and a band most of you probably dont know.
Olethros (Disaster) were a hardcore band from Athens, Greece. They were formed in 1991 and as fas as i know they had an obscure demo tape with horrible sound and this ep is their only vinyl release before joining their forces with Rigma (Crack) and form Olethrio Rigma (Disastrous Crack),a band with many metal hints in their music and attitude.
Their st ep was released on the legendary Wipe Out Records,in 1994, i don't know how many copies were made, it consists three tracks of fast/midpaced crusty hardcore with male/female vocals and socio-political lyrics in greek. The sound production is good and the band sounds pissed off and aggressive
Just like the Terrorizer 7", this record was a sweet finding too, Thanks to George from Greece who contributed this.(Thanks bro, na sai kala..)
Next band from the land of souvlaki and malakas will be Nekriki Sigi (Deadly Silence), just wait for..
Tracklist:
1. Olethros (Disaster)
2. Avyssos (abbyss)
3. Giini kolasi (Earthly hell)

Abstain/Nasum-split 7"

This is Nasum-Abstain-split ep, released in 1998 on Yellow Dog Records. Nasum were a long standing grindcore band from Sweden, formed in late '92 and broke up in late 2004 after Mieszko Talarczyk 's death in the Tsunami of 24-12-04. Their discography catalog is too long to be mentioned here,(check their website). Grind Finale double cd comp was their heir swan song on Relapse dedicated to Mieszko.Abstain were a grind/crust band from California, USA and their discography includes a demo,(1996) the Defy 3" mcd, the '99 US tour 7", the "World full of zombies" lp/cd and split ep's with Agathocles, Denak and Unholy Grave. They contributed tracks in several compilations , a discography cd released in 2003 on SOA Records (Italy) includes most of their recorded material. In "The black illusions/Religion is war" split, Nasum contribute eight short tracks of grinding brutality reminding slightly the early Napalm Death stuff. In-your-face grinding guitars, distorted screeching growls. Rhythms change from fast and chaotic to slower, the tracks were recorded in late 1996.
Abstain contribute three tracks of brutal grindcore filtered in the crust sound influenced by the european grind scene, with tuned down guitars, blistering riffs, dual vocals(deep growls and screeching screams) and blastbeating drums.
Both bands deal with sociopolitics, lyrics texts included for both bands

Tracklist:
