We are a group based in the outer-eastern suburbs of Narrm / so-called Melbourne who come together to organise against the far-right and more broadly against all forms of oppression in our local communities. (Mainly based in and around the Maroondah, Knox and Whitehorse areas)

We acknowledge that we are organising on the stolen land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations, and aim to provide solidarity with Indigenous struggles for justice & sovereignty. We seek to dism...antle colonial structures in our communities, as well as those upholding ableism, sexism, queerphobia and transphobia.

We are committed to direct action and community self-defence against the far-right. This means getting together and dealing with issues ourselves rather than appealing to the police, council, government or other state structures.
We are committed to non-hierarchical, organising and working in cooperation with other groups with similar principles across so-called Melbourne.

We don't all have the same political beliefs or analysis of the world however we share the following principles:

-We organise against and confront fascist and far-right movements to stop them organising, recruiting, or spreading their violent and hateful ideologies in our communities.

-We recognise that fascists and the far-right are not the only groups that perpetuate racism and other oppresions. Institutions such as Border Force, the Police and the government itself are also responsible for upholding the status quo and enabling the far-right. In particular we recognise the racist, colonial history of the Australian state. It is because of this that we do not appeal to the courts, the police or the state to deal with the far-right.

- We believe that all targets of racist and fascist violence have the right to defend themselves. The only way we can overcome attacks on marginalised peoples by the state and attacks by the far-right is to stand together and support each other.
