Human Rights Watch Calls on China To Release Pro-Democracy Activist Qin Yongmin
Human Rights Watch members called for the unconditional release of a Chinese rights activist who was sentenced to more than 13 years for subversion in China, according to Reuters. The activist, Qin Yongmin, founded the "Rose Group" which was an organization of rights activists in 2014 and was delivered one of the longest sentences during a massive crackdown on dissent.
