Let's Point Them To Jesus
The world will try to keep people busy and focused on material things this time of year —anything but Jesus. So, let's use this opportunity to remind them that Jesus Christ was born so they can receive the gift of salvation!
Here are 7 simple ways to witness this Christmas season. People's hearts are softer and more receptive to the Gospel this time of year so let's tell them about the Saviour.
"He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest... and of his kingdom there shall be no end." (Luke 1:32-22)
Here are some suggested titles:
Description: Who loves you so much he gave you life and left heaven to die for you? It was Jesus!
Description: If I just had more money, everything would be okay, right? Joe thought so, until...
Description: The world is confused about who Jesus is. It's a mistake they can't afford to make.
Description: Everything you have said or done will be played back at judgment. Will your name be in the Book of Life?
Description: Adapted from the classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge, but with a twist. Scrooge gets saved!
Description: Almost all scripture, those with no Bible training will understand who Jesus is.
Description: The king had a present that he wanted to freely give to those in his kingdom who would receive it. God wants to give you a free gift...eternal life through His Son, Jesus.

Many churches hand out flyers in their neighborhoods inviting people to attend Christmas services. By adding a tract to your flyer, you can be sure each household gets a clear Gospel presentation in case they don't make it to your service.

It only takes a second to hand a tract to the cashier while shopping.
Give tracts to:
• Store sales clerks
• Santas and their helpers
• Shoppers waiting in line
• Put tracts in dressing rooms
• Waitresses (with a good tip)
• Restaurant busboys, cashiers, etc.
• Grocery store workers

Christmas cards are a wonderful way to share the message of Jesus with friends and loved ones. Add a tract to the envelope to be sure they know how to be saved.

Many churches invest a great deal of time and money into their Christmas programs. Moms, dads, and grandparents who don't regularly attend church will be there to watch the children. But, when the program ends, will they remember your message? Will they take a clear explanation of the Gospel home with them that can continue to deal with their hearts?
Yes, they will, if you give each person attending your Christmas program a Chick tract. Have the children stand at the back door and pass out these "Christmas cards" to everyone as they leave. You know that Chick tracts get read, and God's Word never returns void. (Isaiah 55:10-11) |
Take your family to see Christmas lights and hand out tracts to sightseers. People will be in the perfect mood to receive them.

Many churches have outreaches to needy families in December. Include tracts with the food/toys you give away. This is a wonderful opportunity to share the gospel while showing them God's love.

Do you find it difficult to talk with your coworkers about Jesus? Give an inexpensive gift (small box of chocolates, coffee mug, etc.) and include a tract in the bag.
