    There is no way, literally none, that the UK could do a US trade deal without a very hard border in Ireland (unless it accepted a hard border in the Irish sea). This is very basic and should really have been clear and accepted months ago.

  8. We’ve seen newborn babies, nurses in A&E, been up on the helipad, inside the school on the children’s ward, a man who got a new eye and a patient whose foot was saved from amputation - all in one morning. More to come here -

  12. Was clear from early today that Wiltshire incident likely not a coincidence. Huge mystery now around where novichok poisoning was deliberate or extraordinary bad luck in becoming contaminated...

  13. Government says Wiltshire incident is being treated with "upmost seriousness" and PM being kept informed. Officials held a COBR meeting earlier today, another likely to happen later on. Mood is bleak, though still could be coincidence.

    Had a tear watching this. Pure ecstasy, a sharp, instantaneous burst of joy that knocks you off your feet & sends your limbs out of control, where incomprehensible noises replace words & you don’t know what to do with yourself. There’s no feeling like the one football gives you.
