It is very impressive to see the sleepy IT department so active in conducting raids ..However wonder why only those opposed to the ruling party are raided...what coudl be the reason?

Just got back from Chattisgarh.Baffled that States r denied access to vital procedure wise data for reimbursement of NHPS money, tho 40% is shared by them! No tertiary care as CG IMA has refused AB for "absurd " rates...they are under deep fiscal stress due 2 lack of specialists.

How r commercial films made to influence voters for a political party or a leader freedom of expression and not count as paid publicity? Should the EC not take cognisance of this fact when such films are released in election time & when v know that films do influence opinion.

As a student of history I find it just amazing to see how BJP leaders so brazenly distort facts. Clearly it is very beneficial that we have such high levels of illiteracy. This wouldn't have been possible otherwise. No owner no atta to education or health.

We voters are taken fora ride. We elect a person representing a party and soon after being elected he defects to the rival. Such conscienceless, unscrupulous representatives must be made to ge back and get elected on their new affiliations or else voting is purposeless. .

Gd that NHA and IRDA will be workg together. Worry that this does not tighten de noose of insurance as de principal mode of financing hlth care. Hope they engage with pub hlth experts too and not just ins companies, consultants and the CII. Imp to keep ground realities in view.

Time the narrative gets back to what matters to us most - education, health, employment and gender justice. Time to leave the armed forces alone..they were asked to do a job, they did it with great professionalism - they way they would irrespective of the party in power. QED.

Telengana spent over 18 moths in getting the land records organised before implementing the cash transfer scheme for farmers. Money will not reach the intended. Wish that had been spent more productively. The better off will get better off!

Since when is granting 500 sqyds house site to retd IAS/IPS officers working as advisors a public purpose? AP govt thinks so even as the farmers are on hunger strike for compensation for the four crop land taken away for public purpose of bulding the capital! Embarrassing.

Never heard of this procedure of having NSSO survey data being approved by NITI Ayog....Niti is supposedly a think tank ..but they seem to be working like a super department. Quite amazing.

Time de Natl Hlth Auth issues a white paper on guidelines/ agreements. Transparency is key as guidelines being considered cld hve implications for affordability & access. Since CEO is himself new to health, unclear if outcomes of 2days actions for 2row r fully appreciated.

Giving access to medical records to commercial companies for checking fraud when we have no privacy protection laws nor ability to enforce is likely to make us vulnerable. An assurance from Niti agog would be useful. Not unknown that such data is then used by Pharma companies.
