    New merged cabinet committee drops “diversity” in its name. Has Trudeau got the message that Canadians are fed up with his cult of diversity? Also, as writes, why is there no committee on the economy? Is that not important enough for Lib ministers to discuss?

    Thank you Martha. This is the fundamental reason why I want to do politics differently. The old parties are focused on vote-buying, pandering and pleasing interest groups. As public servants, we should instead focus on the interests of ALL Canadians.

    and I don't agree on everything, but regardless of the policy issue at stake, I echo his concern about decision-makers being swayed by special interests. We need objective, principled decisions, based on facts, that are in the whole of Canada's interest.
