You keep referring to parents bringing their children to the border as cruelty because it’s a “dangerous journey.” Have you considered that a parent would only do such a thing if not taking the journey was _more_ dangerous for their children?

No one in the GOP is able to comprehend it. I have brought it up many times.

They should apply to Mexico, it's on the way.

So, they let u in. They wouldn’t let Senator Nelson in. Why is that?
-
This stinks to the heavens. What two days ago Nelson and Wasserman-Schultz were there and they were denied. Yesterday the same with Democratic Mayors The spin cycle is on overdrive.

You want to incentivize parents to leave their children in condition so dangerous that they fear for their lives. This is unacceptable. Good people will never stop fighting for these kids and families.

What cruel policies?!? The Refugee Act of 1980? The Obama administration’s policy to definitively NOT separate families seeking asylum? Your vague and conclusory tweet is telling - the only cruel policy we can see is the Trump administration’s “zero tolerance” policy.

Did you see children who were taken from parents or just children who crossed the borders unaccompanied by an adult? Were you allowed to tour the facility or only view certain parts? Why no cameras allowed?

Smartest thing you’ve said in quite some time. If we invest in the people and the countries that people are fleeing, we should slow down the migration. Fix the root cause. BTW, I know that not what you were suggesting, so I wanted to help you out a little.
-
How is it our responsibility to fix other countries? Not sure if you realize there are a lot of AMERICANS in need of help. Charity starts at home.
-
Talented people could do both and not even complain.
