    National Atmospheric Research Laboratory(NARL) uses X-Band Polarimetric Radar to study cloud formation and rainfall pattern. This radar was built in-house with the help of BEL.

    L&T designed & made underwater torpedo launcher. This is different from torpedo launchers used by surface ships. It is probably in use in some Indian designed & made submarines. L&T has been involved in design & fabrication of critical systems for IN's strategic underwater fleet.

    Some details about the SATHI system developed by Indian companies for the IA. It was a tactical computer in pre-smartphone era. It was undergoing trials before the project was callously scrapped in the early 2000s. IA recently has re-launched the program to develop "SATHI 2.0".

    The NISAR is a joint project between & to co-develop and launch a dual-frequency SAR on an Earth observation satellite. The satellite will be the first radar imaging satellite to use dual frequencies. It will be used to observe ecosystem disturbances and disasters.

    ARDE is running simulations on their MCIWS to improve ergonomics. The rifle has changed in design. It now has a full sized monolithic MIL-STD-1913 rail on top. The sighting system is excessively large for a infantry weapon. Pic4 shows the previous version of the rifle.
