    Shocked and anguished by the killing of MLA Tirong Aboh ji, his family & others in Arunachal Pradesh. It is an outrageous attempt to disturb peace and normalcy in the North East. The perpetrators of this heinous crime will not be spared. My condolences to the bereaved families.

    HM Shri spoke to Assam Chief Minister, Shri regarding the blast in Guwahati. The Chief Minister apprised him of the situation. The police and other agencies are investigating the incident. The HM prays for the speedy recovery of the injured.

    Cyclonic Storm , as on today morning, is located at 880 Kms South East of Chennai. It is expected to intensify into a very severe cyclonic storm by 30th April. Storm will continue to move North West and change its path to North East from 1st May. 📖

    Deeply pained and anguished by the loss of precious lives due to untimely rains and thunderstorms in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat & certain other parts of the country. The Centre is ready to provide all possible assistance to the states affected by heavy rains and storm.

    I have spoken to DG regarding the encounter in Kanker. He has apprised me of the operation. He will be leaving for Chhattisgarh to help the families of martyred BSF soldiers and also assess the ground situation.
