    Attended the ground breaking ceremony of an oil refinery at Altanshiree Soum in Dornogobi province with the Prime Minister of Mongolia, Mr. U Khurelsukh. This refinery project has been financed by the Government of India through a Line of Credit of One Billion USD.

    Deeply pained at the loss of precious lives due to fire accident in Lucknow. My thoughts are with the families of the deceased. I also pray for the speedy recovery of the injured. The state administration is providing all possible assistance to those affected by this accident.

    It was expected that everyone will cooperate in ensuring the success of this initiative. While the Security Forces have displayed exemplary restraint during this period, the terrorists have continued with their attacks, on civilians and SFs, resulting in deaths and injuries.

    On 17th May 2018, GoI took the decision that Security Forces will not conduct offensive operations in J&K during the holy month of Ramzan. This decision was taken in the interests of the peace loving people of J&K, in order to provide them a conducive atmosphere to observe Ramzan

    The killing of editor, Shujaat Bukhari is an act of cowardice. It is an attempt to silence the saner voices of Kashmir. He was a courageous and fearless journalist. Extremely shocked & pained at his death. My thoughts and prayers are with his bereaved family.
