This makes me sick to my stomach. Children separated from their parents, crying out for help. Border Patrol joking that they "have an orchestra. What’s missing is a conductor.”

This is how abusers talk. They are never responsible for their own actions. It’s always someone else’s fault.

Devastatingly easy to imagine how children might die as a result of the chaos and neglect, if it hasn’t happened already. Good night.

Friends- senate Republicans should have their caucus lunch tomorrow. Please call their offices in the morning so they know going into that lunch where we all stand on the abhorrent family separation policy. They can fix this this week.

If you didn't vote for Hillary Clinton, you voted for this. Trump told you what he's going to do with immigration families. Hillary Clinton warned you. President Obama warned you. 66M people warned you. Bernie Sanders supporters chanted Bernie or Bust, their privilege won.

When someone abandons her home with nothing, crosses 100s of miles to escape violence & poverty, shows up scared & desperate at your gate, the RIGHT thing to do is welcome her, hear her, and promise to do everything you can to help her. The wrong thing to do is steal her child.

No, it's not based on assumption. It's based off the fact that in 2005-06, I was the only black female sports columnist at a daily newspaper in NORTH AMERICA. 1 out of 305. I'm that special that I'm the only one qualified? if so, I really underrated myself.

Congress shouldn’t cede its authority over nuclear weapons to President Trump. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what the NDAA would do by removing congressional oversight for building future nuclear weapons.
