We wanted to clarify that we have NOT hired in a staff position as some people have said. We are paying a weekly fee to the co. that syndicates Rob’s comics to have the right to publish his works on our platforms. We are proud to carry his cartoons starting Monday

Thanks to the , the new Alt-Monthly, for subscribing to my syndicated cartoons! That is awesome and I am very grateful. But some have been congratulating me on landing a new job. Just to be clear, I have not landed a new job.

My heart was already heavy this week with the images of traumatized children at the border, then I heard the local story of the shooting of Antwon Rose. This is a story we have heard far too often in this country.

Thanks to Joel Pett and Cartoonists Rights Network International for this blog post and all the great work they do. I am truly humbled by the stories of cartoonists in other countries suffering FAR MORE SERIOUS PERSECUTION than a job loss.

I am back at the drawing table today working on an immigration cartoon for syndication tomorrow. Until then, I figure this killed cartoon is worth a repost.
