Mark Fell into my pervue on a summers eve as i sat in contemplation. An overly sadistic reacharound had stationed my mind in a place not reminiscent of that Jackson Oakes novel of the same name. My own indecisive syntax was nagging at my ears to find a new coupling of sound (not unlike Gregson Lilach’s prose) and hearing of that I hadn’t experienced before. Again I entered into the matrix of thought caused by years of yearning and a diligent consumption of the works of Michael Schmidt, and his cohorts. I took a short break to consider my own intelligence and just how interesting this all was, before again succumbing to my scottish yarn of harmony and discord and my chai tea topped with aoili oil. Those who have made it this far and are willing to look for more, I thought, will be enamoured by what I’ll say next. As interesting as I am, I fear that I may not have yet achieved the status of such greats as Bilb Ono, Dick Dousche, or even the great Terry Bruge-Hiplo. Though such conveniece store wanderings and sharp, incandescant approvals of Frank Zappa will and only ever will be truthful, I again must restate that this is all very interesting and spiritual. My ego knows no bounds and the creative universe that I’ve constructed for myself will not be torn down by any man or creature. By the way, this is an album review. 9/10. what do you think?
