    Seymour had pistachios for supper. He was eager to start work and after he ate a few nuts he popped the shell off and ran to bury the pistachio from inside. I switched over to the cheaper peanut while he was away. 🥜

    My first squirrel Rocky ~ I have always heard that if a squirrel will trust you then you will have a friend for life. I don't know why but she trusted me. It's true, she was my friend for life. 🐿️ 🥰

    I went to the Piggly Wiggly to pick up some supplies. I bought this "Mr. Pig' Soda thinking it was grape soda. When I got home I noticed it stated "Compare to Dr Pepper" It was the purple label that did it. No grape soda for me. 🍇😠

    Mama Squirrel ~ My old girl is doing great. In a couple more months she will be 3. It's almost time for her to mate again making litter #4. I think I'll make her another house just to be on the safe side. I'll place it in the oak tree on the side of the house. Branch out. 🐿️

    The two Sisters have been coming to eat for the last month. They always come together. Younger than Seymour, they were very malnourished. I assumed their mother had died. Sis A is outgoing. Sis B is reserved. They are doing very well now.

    About 3 weeks ago Sally came home. She moved into house No. 1. This infuriates Mama Squirrel and Seymour who swiftly beats her when she leaves the safety of the house. With Sally back I have 4 generations of squirrels living here at my home. Mama will mate again soon. 🐿️
