I just talked with someone who was there. She said everyone was running, fleeing the Walmart. Then they heard shooting, and dropped to the ground outside. She says at least 10 shots fired.

Tumwater PD spokeswoman Laura Wohl says a suspect shot someone in the Walmart parking lot while he was trying to hijack cars. And then a civilian drew a gun and shot the suspected shooter in the lot. Shooter died, according to Wohl.

UPDATE: Just spoke with mom who’s keys are still inside the Walmart. She said her husband was one of three men who pulled their own guns on shooter. Again, suspect was killed by bystander’s gunshots, per Tumwater police. – at Walmart Supercenter
