Tumwater PD spokeswoman Laura Wohl says a suspect shot someone in the Walmart parking lot while he was trying to hijack cars. And then a civilian drew a gun and shot the suspected shooter in the lot. Shooter died, according to Wohl.

By now you’ve heard that there was a shooting at the #Tumwater Walmart this evening. More details to come but I wanted to let folks know that the scene is no longer active and to ask that you avoid the area while law enforcement manages the site. Very sad night for our city.
