    10 Sep 2013 sentenced to death, 13 March 2014 HC rejected appeal. SC stays the execution. 17 May 2017 SC too rejected appeal. Review dismissed now. Mercy petition pending. For Indian standard, the procedure and date lines are really very prompt.

    Sir, again a media construct. The case has not dragged. The accused were promptly convicted. The delay is only with regard to life imprisonment & death. They're not roaming free as is being projected. In the US the average time on death row is 15 years.
