KFAI is listener-supported, with nearly 2,700 members contributing around thirty percent of its income. Additional support comes from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the State of Minnesota General Fund and Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund, the Minneapolis Foundation, the McKnight Foundation, the Bush Foundation, Rotary, General Mills, area corporations and program underwriters.
