In framework of the bilateral cooperation between European Union Agency for Railways (ERA) and Lebanon, UNDP Project Manager of the “Institutional Capacity Development of the Railway and Public Transportation Authority (RPTA)” Eng. Charbel Challita participated to EUMEDRAIL national action plan conference held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, from the 23rd to 25th of April 2018.
On May 6th 2018, Lebanese citizens went to the polls to elect their new parliament for the first time since 2009, based on a new electoral proportional system. The national voter turnout reached 49% in the 15 electoral districts.
