Hello again dear readers! First, the bug fixes: In this release we have addressed an issue numerous readers wrote in about (thank you) that caused a “cannot decode” message to appear when trying to play certain videos. We have also done some work to help ensure that our app does not turn off music you were listening to when you open up HuffPost, and for iPhone X users, the status bar should now be visible whenever our app is open.
We have also built a new version of our alerts history page that bundles notifications by day and indicates which ones you have read so that you can more easily catch up on the biggest news. This version also restores universal links for US and international edition readers, meaning that if you tap HuffPost links from web searches or other apps, they will open in the HuffPost app so that you can bookmark them to read later or when offline.

Find the “Automatic Downloads” section of our settings page, where you can enable or disable the feature, manually download content from your My Sections list for offline reading, or clear downloaded content to clear some space on your device.
We have also made a few bug fixes that should improve performance for people using older devices.

Hello readers! In this version, we have re-introduced our text-size selector on article pages in the app, and text will also respect the font size you choose in the Accessibility settings. We have heard from many of you about this, and we thank you for your patience as we fixed it.
We have also improved performance by fixing two issues that were causing crashes for some readers, when opening bookmarked articles or when opening articles from the Today Widget.

In this latest version of the HuffPost app, we have introduced a new visual template for some content sections, which you can find in the Sections list on the bottom tab bar.
We have also fixed an issue that was causing the app to crash for some users, and fixed bugs related to videos, embedded tweets, text getting cut off improperly in some cases and more improvements focused on stability and performance.

In this latest version of the HuffPost app, we have improved the performance of and updated the design of our Today screen widget (add it by swiping right on the home screen and choosing "edit" at the bottom of that page).
We have also made it easier to play all videos on section fronts without leaving the page, and we fixed a crash affecting some iPad users.

This is one of my favourite news apps and I always went to it at least once a day. But now, they've made it less user friendly, but changing the format for sections. You used to be able to scroll up and down to check out which section you wanted to read next, but now it's a menu to swipe left to right, and if you want a section that's all the way at the end of the list, then you must keep swiping until you get to it. No quick scrolling anymore. I wish they'd change it back so it would get my 5 star vote like it used to deserve.
