The Formula One 2015 race circuit has been heating up from the beginning. The Malaysian Grand Prix on March 29th started with a great dramatic effect when Sebastian Vettel won the Grand Prix leaving others far behind. Previous to this grand prix, Lewis Hamilton from Mercedes secured the top position in the Australian Grand Prix. In the beginning of the year, it seemed as though the year completely belonged to Lewis Hamilton. However, Sebastian Vettel and Nico Rosberg have also made their mark on the race circuit prominently as well.
Leading to the Singapore Grand Prix on the 20th of September, Lewis Hamilton hit the top position once again at the Italian Grand Prix. It can be certainly be considered a great year for Lewis Hamilton and his team Mercedes. Both the champion drivers from Mercedes, Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg have tasted success in most of the races this year. From the Singapore Grand Prix, the drivers will move to the Japanese Grand Prix that is scheduled to start on the 27th of September. The Russian Grand Prix will be held on the 11th of October after offering some rest to the drivers. Afterwards, there will be a quick move to the United States of America for the scheduled race on the 26th of October. To open the winter season, there will be two Grand Prix with the Mexican Grand Prix on the 2nd of November and the Brazilian Grand Prix on the 15th of November. After finishing the races, the drivers will move towards the east with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on the 29th of November.
Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel and Nico Rosberg have certainly made an excellent impression on the minds of viewers. However, other drivers like Felipe Massa from Williams and Kimi Raikkonen from Ferrari are not too far behind. They will certainly want to catch up with the top drivers in the standings. Therefore, a highly thrilling competition can be envisioned for future races in 2015.
From the British Grand Prix, instituted in 2015, the rules have been changed on the issue of power units. Fresh power units can be utilized in the due course naturally. As a result of changing power units, penalties are not given to the drivers. However, it can be applied if some of the components of the power units are altered.
After the crash of Jules Bianchi in Japan, FIA has decided to increase the safety features of the competition further. A lot of debate has been going in the circuit due to this unfortunate event.
