The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Namibia inaugurated an anti-poaching patrol camp on 4 November 2017, together with the Ministry of Environment and Tourism in Namibia and the Embassy of Japan in Namibia.
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Namibia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Yahoo! Japan on 9 March 2017 to enhance wild animal protection and anti-poaching activities in Namibia.
It is with great pleasure that I give this speech on behalf of the UN family in Namibia, at the official opening of the African Drought Conference. Allow me to start by expressing appreciation to the Government of Namibia, our host for this important event.
