Duncan Zowie Haywood Jones (/ˈdʌŋkən ˈzəʊi ˈheɪwəd ˈʤəʊnz/; born 30 May 1971) is an English film director, film producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for directing the science fiction film Moon (2009), winning the BAFTA Award for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer, and Source Code (2011). He is also the director of the upcoming 2016 film adaptation of Warcraft. He is the son of David Bowie and Angie Barnett.
Jones is the only child from the marriage of David Bowie and his first wife, Angela, a Cypriot-American former model. He was born in Bromley, London. His birth prompted Bowie to write the song "Kooks" for his 1971 album Hunky Dory.
Jones spent time growing up in London, Berlin, and Vevey, Switzerland, where he attended the first and second grade at the Commonwealth American School in Lausanne. When the Bowies divorced in February 1980, David Bowie was granted custody of nine-year-old Jones (who was then known as "Zowie"), and he visited his mother on his school vacations until ending contact with her at age 13. They remain estranged. At age 14, he enrolled in the Scottish boarding school Gordonstoun.
David Robert Jones (8 January 1947 – 10 January 2016), known as David Bowie (/ˈboʊ.i/), was an English singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, painter, and actor. He was a figure in popular music for over five decades, and was considered by critics and musicians as an innovator, particularly for his work in the 1970s. His career was marked by reinvention and visual presentation, and his music and stagecraft significantly impacted popular music. During his lifetime, he sold an estimated 140 million records worldwide. In the UK, he was awarded nine platinum album certifications, eleven gold and eight silver, and released eleven number-one albums. In the US, he received five platinum and seven gold certifications. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996.

A red carpet is traditionally used to mark the route taken by heads of state on ceremonial and formal occasions, and has in recent decades been extended to use by VIPs and celebrities at formal events.
The earliest known reference to walking a red carpet in literature is in the play Agamemnon by Aeschylus, written in 458 BC. When the title character returns from Troy, he is greeted by his vengeful wife Clytemnestra who offers him a red path to walk upon:
Agamemnon, knowing that only gods walk on such luxury, responds with trepidation:
Oriental carpets in Renaissance painting often show rugs and carpets, patterned but with red often the main background colour, laid on the steps to a throne, or on a dais where rulers or sacred figures are placed.
A red carpet was rolled out to a river to welcome the arrival of United States president James Monroe in 1821. In 1902, The New York Central Railroad used plush crimson carpets to direct people as they boarded their 20th Century Limited passenger train. This is believed to be the origin of the phrase "red-carpet treatment". Film premieres are often laid down with red carpets.

Though no sequel is currently in development, it appears 'Warcraft' director Duncan Jones is full of ideas for one. Though the film was poorly received in North America, both critically and at the box office, it was a huge hit in overseas markets like China. If a sequel did happen, it's likely it wouldn't see a theatrical release in the States. But none of that has stopped Duncan Jones from brainstorming, as evidenced by a recent Twitter conversation with a fan. A Twitter user calling himself Joweh Doomhammer (an extremely Warcraft-inspired username) tweeted a photo at Jones of concept art for a costume, lamenting that the character Orgrim didn't end up wearing it in the film. Jones replied to the fan writing, "Would have been in film 2, if it were to happen." This sparked a lengthy thread...
