At a Vigil in City Hall to remember and pay tribute to those suffered pain and grief in Mother and Baby Homes. Part of a wider process of ensuring their experiences are not forgotten and those who inflicted the pain are eventually held to account.

This narrative is so lazy, you know we're a cross-community party - we vote issue by issue. Sometimes we vote with SF, sometimes DUP (sometimes they vote with us!) - our positions are based on evidence & consultation, not based purely on what will please one perceived community.

The Green Party have signed up to Union and NI flags on the Ormeau Road from June to September. As I said on to “you’ve got this wrong”. A slap in the face to Ormeau residents and something which does nothing to build community in our shared space.

Bizarre Green Party support the flying of flags on Ormeau Rd for 3 months. It's not what residents want & not the way to create shared space. Consultation & joined up approach is what is needed (& the assembly back up so can progress her private members bill on this!)

Less than a fortnight ago, flags removed along Ravenhill Avenue. Today they are back. It is May, a shared housing area & not good enough.

The North does NOT need a referendum. We need a functioning government or in the alternative legislative change from Westminster that’s all!

As pleased as I am at result of I'm also angry at this weak UK govt enduring the stranglehold of DUP to stay in power thereby blocking progress on law reform, minority language rights, redress 4 victims of Historical Institutional Abuse
