    If this is the best one of the world’s richest countries can do at a time of great prosperity, it is a disgrace. These figures reflect how little has been done to ensure those living in poverty benefit from the so called economic recovery.

    The US Census Bureau released 2017 statistics today which showed that almost 45 million Americans are living in poverty and 28 million do not have healthcare. The current administration should be ashamed of these numbers.
