    Let's admit: Obama didn't handle Russian interference v. well--in ways that benefited Trump. He bent over backward to appear fair when in fact, his reticence was helping to tip scales against HRC. And McConnell pressured him to do it. The truth is opposite of Trump's critique.

    One of the many details that gets lost in the narrative that Obama was "out to get Trump" is this: in August of 2016 wanted to write an op-ed warning the public that Russia was attempting to interfere in our elections. Obama *objected* bc it would look unfair to Trump. 🤔

    Knowledge of this deliberate strategy, coupled with Trump and Giuliani’s well documented history of speaking falsely, are good reasons for news desks to refrain from presenting uncorroborated Giuliani statements as factual revelations.
