This brave new world of Mr in which tens of thousands of employees decide what is fake news and what is not, scares me. This is a public task for the public authorities.

The US Congress had the right format, but asked only soft questions. The EU Parliament had the right questions, but a soft format that allowed to avoid the answers. Democracy can do better! Now it's time to regulate !

Welcome in the European Parliament, Mr. Zuckerberg. Hope you don’t see this as a PR-show. We want answers on the massive privacy breach of millions of European users and how you will fully comply with strict EU rules in the future!

It is the arrogance of Mark Zukerberg who knows he will get away with any shit as the US Big Brother is backing him that I find most disgraceful. What is the point of his appearances in parliaments? He does not give a damn.

Tonight, Mark Zuckerberg will be questioned on the privacy of EU users of in the European Parliament. It is disappointing that instead of a hearing in committee or plenum only a very select number of MEPs will be allowed to attend.

I asked Mark about collecting and storing non-users’ data (shadow profiles). It turns out he needs to keep it for security purposes. No answer on whether you can see what they collected, delete it or whether it’s used commercially.

There are more EU users on than there are in the US. Data harvesting with the aim of manipulating public opinion is unacceptable. Europeans deserve to know how their data is handled.
