HELLO AGAIN
It's been a few weeks since our last post. It was our first time ever in Europe (in any way) and it was a wild time with hard to find wifi and lots of cramped spaces and beer. All your mail orders and mail order problems are being sorted out by Duffy in Portland as I type this. SORRY FOR ALL DELAYED ORDERS. With the recent relocation to LA for White Fang and The Memories there were some growing pains with housekeeping back at the Gnar Tapes office back at Gnarnia in Portland. GNARNIA IS STILL GOING STRONG! Totally You, Pop Zeus, Mope Grooves, and Adam Hess (of Therapists) all live there and there are still hang outs and crazy times to be had. If you're visiting Portland make sure to drop one of us a line!
We got some cool new things happening (like always) and here's a list of things:
- new tapes by The Memories in the distro shop, courtesy of OSR Tapes of Vermont / New York. 4 new songs sure to please undoubtedly; everyone loves The Memories!!!
- we have some copies of the European-only LP release of "Full Time Freaks"; the final collection of home recorded lo-fi tracks by White Fang. (NOTE: this is not the new album for Burger Records recorded by rock legend Bobby Harlow - that comes out on Burger LP 7/15 and it's a balls out rock and roll record sure to change minds everywhere) this is the sequel to last year's "Steady Truckin' For Summer" tape and it's the chillest, most laidback album White Fang has ever done and ever will do. strictly for the stoners. expect Van Halen / Metallica / Offspring / mindfuck madness on 7/15...
- White Fang is going on a USA tour starting 4/2 (next week) and they will be carrying all kinds of White Fang, The Memories, Gnar Tapes goodness, and more. they are on fire and ripping the best sets they have ever done. bring your party shoes and get ready to get nuts. dates below -
